FINISHED CONSTRUCTION: Medina Ethanol Plant

Above: I trekked a quarter mile through foot-and-a-half deep snow on a bitter December evening to capture this angle of the plant. This image became the lead photograph for a website slideshow I was developing that featured panoramic images. The Medina Ethanol Plant was the first ethanol plant to be constructed in the Northeastern United States.

Before I upgraded my Nikon equipment to digital I art directed several photo shoots where I hired Louis Sabo of LRS Images to capture the images I needed. He took these images as I directed.

Above: Coal is brought into the facility via rail car with the plant’s ethanol product being transported for further refining in the same manner.
