This post highlights Bryn Steffan racing at Area 51 on a sweltering July afternoon. Above: Bryn (#8) takes the holeshot for one of his six races of the day.
In case you can’t tell, Bryn has been doing this for a while. He’s 13 and is riding a two-stroke KTM 125. Bryn gave me plenty of opportunities to capture him and his rival, Maccoy Shine (#718) throughout the day. Bryn and Maccoy finished 1st and 2nd in each of their races leaving the rest of the pack eating their dust.
